On August 6, 2024, Bitdefender, a global cybersecurity leader, hosted the "Fortifying Digital Frontiers" panel at the S31 Sukhumvit Hotel in Bangkok. Supported by the National Cybersecurity Committee (NCSC), the event gathered government officials and business leaders to discuss the escalating complexity of cybersecurity threats and showcase innovative solutions to safeguard organizations. 

 Morning Session: In the morning session, Bitdefender celebrated its partners' outstanding contributions. Gold, Platinum, and Diamond partners were rewarded, while distributors received appreciation letters. 27 partners were recognized for their exceptional performance, dedication, and collaboration in advancing Bitdefender's cybersecurity solutions.

Cutting-Edge Technology: During the event, Bitdefender showcased its comprehensive suite of cybersecurity solutions designed to tackle evolving threats. These included advanced Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Extended Detection and Response (XDR), Managed Detection and Response (MDR), Cloud Security Posture Management Plus (CSPM+), and Offensive Security services. These tools are integral in providing real-time threat protection, managed from a single console of GravityZone platform. Bitdefender solutions help organizations to be resilient through their defense framework and secures from known and unknown threats.

The keynote speeches from leading cybersecurity experts continued with Mr. Michal Dominik, the Managing Director of Indochina CP, on the topic “Involving Threat Landscape: Preparing for Unknown attacks. Cyber threat involving alongside the development of computing. This is why Bitdefender Gravity Zone develop solution together with development of computing advance step ahead of upcoming cyber threat.

Dr. Parinya Hom-anek, Chairman and CEO of ACIS Professional Center, presented "Cybersecurity Ecosystem Challenges in Thailand." He highlighted the various obstacles the country is facing, including the rapid digital transformation, the increasing complexity of cyberattacks, and emphasized the need for greater collaboration between the public and private sectors. 

Air Marshal Amorn Chomchoey, Secretary-General of the Thailand National Cybersecurity Committee Agency, began the panel discussion with a keynote speech addressing the challenges and strategic initiatives needed to strengthen Thailand's cybersecurity ecosystem. He emphasized the increasing complexity and severity of cyber threats and the necessity for a robust collaborative approach to maintain the country's cybersecurity. 

 

Mr. Kasetr Mahatanakoet, Reginal Channel Manager Bitdefender emphasized the benefits of proactive security services, including Penetration Tests and Threat Intelligence Platforms. He detailed how these services can help identify vulnerabilities before attackers exploit them, allowing organizations to implement proactive defense strategies. 

Another highlight of the discussion was the presentation of Bitdefender GravityZone, a Unified Security and Risk Analytics Platform. Pawoot Lokan, a Consulting Engineer at Bitdefender, demonstrated how GravityZone extends endpoint security coverage to include EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response), XDR (Extended Detection and Response), MDR (Managed Detection and Response), and other advanced security measures. This comprehensive approach ensures that organizations can detect and respond to threats across their entire infrastructure. Attendees also witnessed a demonstration of cyber threat hunting by Fahthani Imsin, a Solution Architect at Bitdefender, who showcased real-time threat detection and response techniques. 

The program concluded with a thought-provoking panel discussion on cybersecurity, exploring the balance between national security and privacy. Amone panelists were cybersecurity experts such as Air Marshal Amorn Chomchoey (NCSA Secretary-General), Dr. Parinya Hom-anek (Chairman and CEO of ACIS Professional Center), and Dr. Kamphon Sornthanarath (Digital Transformation Consultant, Personal Data Protection Officer of the SEC and Chairman of the DPO), Songkrot Sriphumbang, Senior Product Manager at Bitdefender. The discussion was moderated by Mr. Narintith Premaphiwatnokul (Cyber ​​security expert). The panel delved into the roles of both the public and private sectors in maintaining cybersecurity while simultaneously respecting individual privacy rights.
