Bitdefender Indochina attends International Cybersecurity Conference in Hanoi, Vietnam

On Thursday, November 24th, 2022, Bitdefender Vietnam attended the Vietnam Information Security Association (VNISA) Vietnam Cyber Security Day (VCSD) at the Melia Hotel in Hanoi, Vietnam. VCSD is an annual International Conference and Exhibition hosted by the Ministry of Information and Communications. Aligned with VCSD’s theme of ‘‘Ensuring Cyber Security for Citizen and Enterprise in Digital Transformation’’, this event is expected to be a major, national level forum and an attraction point for all international, domestic stakeholders and communities in the field of cybersecurity. 

VNISA is one of the largest Cybersecurity and Information Security Conferences in Vietnam and Asian. Both public and private sector organizations are represented at the conference. VNISA plays a leading role in successfully providing a platform for IT & cybersecurity technology, digital transformation trends, networking, security affairs, sales and marketing in the information security industry in Vietnam for 15 consecutive years.

At the event day, Bitdefender was busy hosting a booth, handing out premium gifts to visitors, chatting about Btidefender’s cyber security products and solutions and networking with other cyber security leaders also in attendance. Bitdefender also led a Mini Game, titled "The Lucky Rotation" which customers were very excited about with the lucky draw and gifts such as: Flasks, Gray Pens, T-shirts, Raincoats, etc. Bitdefender received a lot of interest in security products, solutions, as well as questions from business customers.

Mr. Trong, of Bitdefender, answered a number of questions from customers, particularly from the Government sector interested in Bitdefender's products complying with Vietnamese government regulations, such as Directive 14. There are some customers who requested a POC (Proof of Concept) for their business and aksed for Bitdefender's support. Mr. Trong and Mr. Dung, both Bitdefender representatives at the conference, happily provided business cards to prospective customers to further communications after the event. In addition to interest from Businesses and Government agencies, many media outlets approached Bitdefender's booth for photos and information about Bitdefender's future development in the Vietnamese market.
